MDPI features an article, titled "Social Innovation in the Non-Profit Organization Framework: A Review," explores the literature associated with the concepts of social innovation and non-profits.
The results found that these concepts complement rather than exclude each other, as social innovation can add to the social value of this type of organization.
The social commitment of non-profits and its connection to integrating an innovative approach in their organization's management is also discussed as a way to face social problems through innovation and promote participation and development in the social sector.
