How to Write a Theory of Change

Bridgespan tackles how a theory of change is a nonprofit's conceptual road map to impact. Bridgespan features how to write one that will help nonprofit leaders achieve their goals.

According to Bridegspan, "developing a theory of change takes thoughtful, intentional work". To get started, there are five questions to address to be able to explain how an intended impact will actually happen to achieve social results.

In addition to helping nonprofits make better decisions, a good theory of change can also build a more cohesive organization.

Also, besides aligning on a path to social impact, a theory of change provides several other benefits, according to Bridgespan.
