The Chronicle of Philanthropy, a leading source of news on philanthropy, is looking for a new chief revenue officer.
The ideal candidate has at least five years' experience in a revenue-generating role, has a strong background in digital products and services, and has a passion for philanthropy, the New York Times reports.
The new chief revenue officer will work with the Chronicle's CEO and other organization leaders "to focus on the continued evolution and transformation of Chronicle's revenue streams with the goal ofdoubling revenue earnings in the first five years of operation and to build its donations from private foundations and corporations," the Chronicle says in a statement.
The ideal candidate "will take a leadership role in the team of professionals who contribute to our revenue-generating efforts, including ad sales director and our director of learning products, while getting support from the Chronicle's business division's operations as an independent nonprofit organization," the statement says.
