It's not every day that a police officer is killed in the line of duty, but that's exactly what happened in Chester County, Pa., on Saturday.
Police say 49-year-old officer Rafael Perez-Barrera was shot and killed while sitting in his patrol car, reports the Philadelphia Inquirer.
Perez-Barrera had been sitting in his patrol car for about five minutes when he was fatally injured by a bullet to the head, police say.
