Students in a tourism entrepreneurship course at the Macao University of Tourism have come up with a novel way to give back to the community.
They've developed a marketing strategy for a store that sells environmentally friendly cleaning products to youth in the region, reports the South China Morning Post.
The Bosco Green Store is the first social enterprise supported by the Bosco Youth Service Network in Macao, and the students were tasked with coming up with effective business models and marketing strategies for the store, which sells products including cleaning products, personal care items, and cultural products.
The students also worked on a three-week social media campaign that the store's manager says increased visits and engagement on the store's social media accounts.
