Kahle is the president and CEO of the foundation, a charitable organization whose mission is "to make Lenawee County a better place for everyone who calls it home," according to its website.
The foundation works with individuals, businesses, and organizations to "act like a community savings account" and to "support nonprofits, and enhance the wellbeing of our neighbors," according to its website.
In Lenawee County, "hometown pride runs deep, and taking care of our neighbors is a way of life," Kahle writes.
"As a community foundation, we have a tremendous opportunity to work side-by-side with neighbors of every age and all backgrounds to nurture our community, forever."
