Rotary Club of Hagerstown Foundation Awards Local Grants

The Rotary Club of Hagerstown has handed out $62,800 in grants to 25 charities in the Washington County area, reports the Herald-Mail.

The grants were awarded at a June 19 lunch held by the club, which has given out $2,344,746 since 1980.

Among the recipients: Breast Cancer AwarenessCV Inc.

Brooke Lane Health Services Inc.CASA Ridge Children's Home and School Inc.

Community Free Clinic Inc.

Federal Little League of Hagerstown Inc.

The First Hose Company of Boonsboro Girls Incorporated of Washington County Habitat for Humanity of Washington County Inc.

The Interfaith Coalition of Hagerstown Inc.

Mount Aetna Volunteer Fire DepartmentOtterbein United Methodist Church of Hagerstown United Way of Washington County Wells Recovery Inc.
