The Volta Flood and Drought Management (VFDM) project has the ambition to provide the first large scale and transboundary implementation of integrated flood and drought management strategies.
The project is structured around three main components:.
Develop capacity and established frameworks at the local, national and regional levels to ensure risk informed decision-making.
Develop concrete adaptation and environmentally friendly actions with an integrated approach.
Strengthen policy and institutional capacity.
