Home health stakeholders are hopeful a draft Medicaid integrity rule undergoing White House review will scrap a Biden-era direct pay requirement.
They argue stifles technological innovation and interoperability by dictating how much managed care plans must pay workers.
The draft rule is under review by the White House and the Department of Health and Human Services.
It is expected to be released later this year.
